Every episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine » The Slump

All I know is my mind was so numb from doing all that boring data entry that my brain kind of rebooted and I had an inspiration about one of my old cases.

Life in Gaza

Wow

Ok, I usually kind of scoff at people who say “omg crying/sobbing/etc” but this literally made my eyes water. How can the whole world sit and watch children be murdered, ripped from their homes, watch everything they’ve ever owned go up in flames including their pets, while they have more and more and more of their land STOLEN. This is the American Indian genocide all over again, and again no one gives a shit.

[on what keeps him humble] You know, I telephoned my grandparents the other day, and my grandfather said to me, “We saw your movie.” “Which one?” I said, and he shouted, “Betty, what was the name of that movie I didn’t like?” I thought that was just classic. I mean, if that doesn’t keep your feet on the ground, what would? - Brad Pitt
